Privacy Policy

Roly is a hobby project for a small group. We collect the minimum needed to sign you in and run the game, we do not sell anything to anyone, there is no advertising or third-party tracking, and we never see your card details.

From Google, when you sign in: your email address, your name, and your profile picture URL. The email identifies your account. Your name and picture are stored because the sign-in library records them, but they are never shown anywhere in the app — other members only ever see the username and animal you chose.

What you create: your username and avatar, the questions you post, the positions you take, your points balance, and your comments.

If you pay: Stripe processes the payment and sends us your customer and subscription identifiers plus whether the subscription is active. Card numbers go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking pixels.

To sign you in, to show you as your chosen username, to keep score, and to know whether your membership is current. That is the whole list.

Other members see your username, your avatar, your positions, your comments, and your standing on the leaderboard. They do not see your email, your real name, or your Google picture.

Administrators can additionally see your email address, which is how they tell accounts apart.

Our providers: Vercel hosts the site, Neon hosts the database, Google handles sign-in, and Stripe handles payments. Each only receives what it needs to do its job. We do not sell or share your data with anybody else.

One session cookie, so the site knows you are signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies. Signing out removes it.

For as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete it and we remove your account and personal details. Questions you posted may remain so other members' historical positions still make sense, but they are detached from you.

Email support@roly.fun to get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account. You can change your username and avatar yourself at any time in settings.

Roly is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.

If this policy changes materially we will say so on the site.
